Etobicoke

Studied with Patricia Blomfield Holt, where she achieved an ARCT from the RCM, (Royal Conservatory of Toronto.) She also pursued post diploma studies with Gordon Hallett. Virginia is an RCM Examiner, a Board member of The Alliance for Canadian New Music Projects, and on the Board of Contemporary Showcase, Mississauga. She is also a Board member, and the piano consultant of Davenport Music Festival; the longest running music Festival in the city of Toronto. Virginia adjudicates music festivals across the province. She is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, where she serves as President of the Etobicoke Mississauga Branch, and has been on the Provincial Executive in the past. She teaches privately from her home studio in Etobicoke; piano, Rudiments, Harmony, History and Counterpoint . She approaches life and the teaching of music with love, joy, and much laughter, with the hope that her students will maintain an enduring love and appreciation of music their entire lives.

Offering enjoyable in-studio beginner lessons that focuses on what you what to learn, whether it’s jazz, classical, pop, improvisation, music theory, voice, or ear training. Kids and grownup are welcome to try out a lesson for free! Regular rates are $45/hour or $40/hour when you prepay for 10 hours.
